Description / Abstract:
The material covered by this specification is intended for general use in the manufacture of parts and components hardened by heat treatment to tensile a strength of 180,000 psi or less. It is weldable by fusion methods. The hardenability and weldability of this material are considered equivalent to that of MIL-S-6050.
